Description | PFM03 is an inhibitor of MRE11 Endonuclease that regulates DNA double-strand break repair (DSBR) by nonhomologous end-joining (NHEJ) [1]. |
In vitro | PFM03, when applied at concentrations ranging from 50 to 400 μM for a duration of 30 minutes, specifically inhibits the activity of MRE11 endonuclease [1]. Furthermore, at a concentration of 100 μM over 30 minutes, PFM03 facilitates normal double-strand break (DSB) repair in G2 phase cells marked by CENPF positivity [1]. Additionally, at a dose of 50 μM for an 8-hour period, PFM03 is observed to increase the utilization of non-homologous end-joining (NHEJ) mechanisms while concurrently decreasing homologous recombination (HR) in cells [1]. |
