Description	Omzotirome (TRC150094) is a functional analogue of iodothyronine and is useful for research on hyperlipidemia.
In vivo	Method: Male Wistar rats (8 weeks old) fed a high-fat diet (HFD) were administered Omzotirome (0.750 mg/100 g, i.p.). Result: Compared to HFD-fed counterparts, Omzotirome significantly reduced visceral adipose tissue while simultaneously altering the metabolic status in two major metabolically active tissues, leading to enhanced energy expenditure and fatty acid oxidation, and ultimately resulting in body weight gain comparable to that of rats fed a standard chow. As a functional analog of iodothyronines, Omzotirome effectively reduces adiposity by increasing metabolic rates in response to a high-fat dietary intake [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
