| Description | Neridronate is an aminodiphosphate that is commonly used in diseases associated with disorders of bone metabolism and complex regional pain syndromes (CRPS) such as osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) and Paget's disease of bone (PDB). |
| In vitro | Neridronate inhibits osteoclast activity, suppresses bone resorption markers, and reduces bone metastasis potential in breast cancer cells. Neridronate also modulates Wnt signaling by increasing sclerostin, leading to reduced bone formation[1]. |
| In vivo | Neridronate shows strong anti-resorptive and bone-strengthening effects via intravenous or intramuscular administration. Neridronate increases BMD, reduces fracture rates, and relieves pain in models of osteogenesis imperfecta (2 mg/kg, i.v., every 3 months), Paget’s disease (100 mg i.v. × 2 days), and CRPS-I (100 mg i.v. every 3 days × 4). Monthly dosing (25-100 mg) also benefits GIO, β-thalassemia-induced osteoporosis, and PHPT[1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
