| Description | Iminodiacetic acid is a metal ion chelator targeting Cr⁶⁺, Cd²⁺, Ni²⁺ and Pb²⁺. It selectively and irreversibly binds heavy metal ions through coordination of carboxyl and imino groups, reducing toxicity and facilitating adsorption and separation, and is widely used in water environmental governance, metal ion detection and separation fields. |
| In vitro | Methods: Iminodiacetic acid (200 mg) was used to conduct heavy metal ion adsorption experiments with a reaction time of 3.5 hours, so as to detect its removal effect on various heavy metal ions. Meanwhile, 1 mM iminodiacetic acid was used for 24 hours to explore its coordination and binding characteristics with Pd²⁺. Results: In the heavy metal adsorption experiment, the removal rates of iminodiacetic acid for Cr⁶⁺, Ni²⁺, Pb²⁺, and Cd²⁺ were 99.7%, 65%, 59%, and 28% respectively, showing the best adsorption and removal capacity for hexavalent chromium [1]. The Results: of the coordination experiment indicated that 1 mM iminodiacetic acid could stably form a 1:1:1 ternary complex with Pd²⁺, and the coordination structure had good stability [2]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
