| Description | Gummiferin dipotassium exhibits antifungal activity against Saccharomyces cerevisiae and can be used in biochemical experiments and drug synthesis research. |
| In vitro | Gummiferin dipotassium (10-25 μM, 48 hours) can induce death in mouse primary pulmonary endothelial cells and exacerbate mitochondrial dysfunction, specifically manifested as mitochondrial membrane potential depolarization, increased reactive oxygen species generation, and opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore [2]. Gummiferin dipotassium (2 μM) can induce Ca²⁺ release in aged rat liver mitochondria, while triggering mitochondrial swelling and membrane potential collapse [3]. |
| In vivo | Gummiferin dipotassium (13.5 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection) can induce behavioral manifestations such as drowsiness, fatigue, and epileptic seizure in rats, and cause histopathological damage to the liver and kidneys, specifically manifested as hepatic cell vacuolar degeneration, necrosis, and renal tubular necrosis [5]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
