| Description | FNC-TP, the intracellular active form of FNC, is a potent nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) with broad-spectrum antiviral activity against HIV, HBV, and HCV. |
| In vitro | FNC (0.1-10 nM; 24-240 h) primarily accumulates in HIV-1 target cells, with a FNC-TP retention rate that is 2-4 times higher than in other cell types[1]. |
| In vivo | FNC (1-6 mg/kg; administered orally once) penetrates rhesus macaque PBMCs, where it is converted into its active form, the nucleoside triphosphate FNC-TP[1]. |
