| Description | DuP 105 is an oxazolidinone compound and a bacterial protein synthesis inhibitor with oral activity and selective antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria. It can be used to study infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococci and streptococci, and has shown protective effects in animal models. |
| In vitro | Methods: DuP 105 (4–16 μg/mL) was used to treat various clinically isolated strains, including Staphylococcus species (S. aureus, S. epidermidis, S. haemolyticus, S. hominis), Streptococcus species (Lancefield groups A, B, D, including Enterococcus faecalis), and Bacteroides fragilis, to assess growth inhibition. Results: DuP 105 inhibited the growth of all tested strains.[1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
