Antimalarial agent 55 is an orally active inhibitor of Plasmodium falciparum aminopeptidases, PfA-M1 and PfA-M17, with Ki values of 27 and 81 nM, respectively. It exhibits potent nanomolar activity against homologous enzymes of Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium berghei, with Ki values of 2, 4, 190, and 18 nM for Pv-M1, Pb-M1, Pv-M17, and Pb-M17. This agent demonstrates significant antiplasmodial activity, cross-species inhibition, and broad-spectrum efficacy that is unaffected by existing resistance mechanisms, making it useful for malaria research.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
