Anticanceragent 309 (Compound HZ-1) is an anticancer G-quadruplex binding agent with Kd values of 2.46 μM and 1.61 μM for c-MycG4 and KRAS G4, respectively. It facilitates the formation of G4 structures in the nucleus, exhibiting higher selectivity for parallel G4s over non-parallel ones. Additionally, Anticanceragent 309 inhibits the NRF2 signaling pathway, resulting in decreased expression of XCT and GPX4. It can induce ferroptosis, apoptosis, and immunogenic cell death, demonstrating antitumor activity against breast cancer and being applicable in breast cancer research.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
