Anti-inflammatory agent 80, an anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor compound, can be isolated from Cynanchum limprichtii Schltr [1] [2].
In vitro
Anti-inflammatory agent 80 (Compound 2) exhibits cytotoxicity against human cancer cell line HL60 [1]. Additionally, Anti-inflammatory agent 80 (Compound 2f; 100 μM; 1 h) significantly suppresses LPS-induced iNOS protein expression in RAW264.7 cells as demonstrated by Western blot analysis [2].
