Description
Aleuritic Acid (9,10,16-trihydroxy-palmitic acid), or α-aleuritic acid, is a major ingredient in shellac, constituting about 35% of it. It is used as a starting material in the perfume industry for the preparation of musk aroma.
In vivo
Oral cellobiose administration improved both clinical and pathological signs of colitis with a decrease in mucosal proinflammatory cytokines mRNA expression[1]. Dietary cellobiose was extensively digested in the small intestine by beta-galactosidase in rats[2].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
