Description | ARL 67156 is a weak competitive inhibitor of NTPDase1 (CD39), NTPDase3 and NPP1, with Kis of 11, 18 and 12 μM, respectively[1]. ARL67156 trisodium salt is an inhibitor of ecto-ATPase. |
Targets&IC50 | NPP1:12 μM(ki), NTPDase3:18 μM(ki), NTPDase1:(ki)11 μM |
In vitro | ARL67156 does not significantly inhibit the activity of NTPDase2, NTPDase8, NPP3, and ecto-5′-nucleotidase (CD73), yet it diminishes their activity [1]. In addition, the trisodium salt form of ARL67156 effectively impedes UTP breakdown in superior cervical ganglion cells and enhances contractions triggered by this nucleotide in isolated rat tail artery. |
