In vitro	1 alpha, 25(OH)2D3 serves as a crucial negative regulator of parathyroid hormone (PTH) gene transcription[1]. In ROS 17/2.8 cells, at a concentration of 10 μM, 1α-OHD3 undergoes metabolism to form 1αOH-3-epi-D3, 1α,25(OH)2D3, and also 1α,25(OH)2-3-epi-D3[2].
