Description
(Rac)-CP-601927 hydrochloride is the racemate form of CP-601927, a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonist, with Ki values of 1.2 nM for α4β2 and 102 nM for α3β4 nAChR.
In vitro
CP-601927 has been shown to elicit notable antidepressant-like effects in mice. It achieves this by either decreasing cholinergic signaling through diminished efficacy or by desensitizing α4β2* nAChRs[1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
