In vivo
In a phospholipase A2-induced mouse paw edema test, Sigmoidin B (5 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection) inhibited edema formation at 60 minutes. In the Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) test, Sigmoidin B reduced induced edema by 83% [1].
