Description	P-113 acetate is an antimicrobial peptide (AMP) derived from the human salivary protein histatin 5, shows good safety and efficacy profiles in gingivitis and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) patients with oral candidiasis.
In vitro	P-113 acetate is active against clinically important microorganisms such as Pseudomonas spp., Staphylococcus spp., and C. albicans[1]. The MIC value of P-113 acetate against C. albicans is 3.13 μg/mL[1].
