Description
MGAT2-IN-7 (compound 27Q) is a substituted benzenesulfonamide compound and functions as an inhibitor of monoacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (MGAT2). It is applicable to the research of obesity and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
In vitro
MGAT2-IN-7 (compound 27Q) (0.1-10 μM; 45 h) effectively inhibits human monoacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 in an in vitro thiol fluorescence enzyme assay, with an IC50 value of less than 1 μM.
In vivo
MGAT2-IN-7 (27Q), administered orally at doses of 15-50 mg/kg once daily for 7 days, produces a dose-dependent reduction in body weight and food intake in diet-induced obese mice, with a 6.8% body weight reduction observed at 50 mg/kg. When combined with a GLP-1 receptor agonist, MGAT2-IN-7 (27Q) at 50 mg/kg (oral administration, once daily for 22 days) synergistically enhances the weight loss effect and decreases food consumption in these mice, with the weight-reducing effect measured on day 17.

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
