Description
IQM-266 is a DREAM ligand (KD = 4.63 μM) and KV4 current modulator. IQM-266 inhibits KV4.3/DREAM currents in a concentration-, voltage-, and time-dependent manner, increases transmembrane charge, and modulates IA currents in rat DRG neurons, making it a potential therapeutic candidate for neurological disorders.
In vitro
IQM-266 (3-10 μM) dose-dependently reduced the peak amplitude of IA in rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons [1]. When depolarizing pulse stimulation was applied, IQM-266 (3 μM) increased transmembrane charge transfer in CHO cells while decreasing the peak amplitude of IA current and slowing its inactivation process [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
