Gibberellin A9 is a plant hormone that targets the gibberellin receptor GID1. By binding with GID1, Gibberellin A9 forms a GA-GID1-DELLA protein complex that facilitates the degradation of DELLA proteins, thereby removing their inhibitory effect on plant growth. This process promotes cell elongation and division and increases seed germination rates. Gibberellin A9 is promising for research in plant growth and development, such as stem elongation and flowering induction.
