Enflicoxib is an efficacious and safe agent for the treatment of pain and inflammation across all stages of canine osteoarthritis. Enflicoxib demonstrates a faster onset of action compared to mavacoxib, offering an improved pharmacological profile for veterinary applications.
In vivo
Pharmacokinetic studies of Enflicoxib were conducted following single oral and intravenous administration in rats and dogs. In both animal species, E-6087 was characterized by a long elimination half-life (20-35 hours), low plasma clearance (0.10-0.22 l h(-1) kg(-1)), and a relatively large volume of distribution (2-6 l kg(-1)). Oral bioavailability was lower in dogs compared to rats, while absorption occurred more rapidly in rats. [2]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
