By inhibiting the cleavage of viral spike proteins, CTSLCTSB-IN-1 obstructs two critical entry pathways of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, making it useful for anti-SARS-CoV-2 research.
In vitro
CTSLCTSB-IN-1 demonstrates significant antiviral activity in Calu-3 cells infected with clinically isolated SARS-CoV-2 δ or omicron BA.2 strains at concentrations of (10 -3 -10 5 nM, 1h).
