| In vitro | Jedi2 triggers a Piezo1-mediated Ca2+ influx, inducing dose-dependent reactions uniquely in cells transfected with mPiezo1 at a concentration of 200 μM, without affecting cells transfected with mPiezo2 or the vector alone [1]. Similarly, at 1 mM, Jedi2 enhances Ca2+ levels in mCherry-positive HEK293T cells harboring the mPiezo1-mCherry construct, comparable to the response driven by Yoda1 at 30 μM [1]. |
