In vivo
Method: Casein kinase 1δ-IN-5 was evaluated in vitro in astrocyte and microglia cultures and in vivo in 6-OHDA-induced Parkinson’s disease models and zebrafish toxicity assays.
Result: Inhibitor 4 (IC50 = 23 nM) protected dopaminergic neurons, reduced LPS-induced inflammation, and showed no detectable toxicity[1].
