Description	Casegravol is a new monomeric coumarin isolated from the bark of Casearia graveolens Dalz with antiproliferative activity and can be used in the study of gastric adenocarcinoma and uterine cancer.
In vitro	MeOH extracts of the ground part and root of Boenninghausenia japonica NAKAI have an inhibitory effect on the growth of tumor cells, with casegravol (MK-1) having GI50 of 33μM, 36μM, and 27μM for human uterine cancer (HeLa) and mouse melanoma (B16F10) cells, respectively. [1]
