| In vitro | Brazzein exhibits significant ABTS radical scavenging activity in a cell-free system at concentrations of 15-30 μM, with an IC50 of 12.55 μM. Its DPPH radical scavenging ability is weaker, showing an IC50 greater than 30 μM at similar concentrations and duration. At 3-25 μM, Brazzein inhibits human COX-2 activity in cell-free conditions with an IC50 of 12.62 μM. However, Brazzein demonstrates limited anti-inflammatory effects in RAW 264.7 cells with an IC50 for NO production inhibition exceeding 15 μM, and it does not exhibit cytotoxicity in RAW 264.7 cells at concentrations of 1-15 μM. |

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
