In vitro | Method: In CHO-μ cells, BMS-986121 (1 μM–1 mM) was used to evaluate its effect on low-concentration endomorphin-I-induced β-arrestin recruitment and the enhancement of forskolin-stimulated adenylyl cyclase inhibition. At a concentration of 100 μM, its impact on the potency of endomorphin-I and leu-enkephalin in inhibiting cAMP accumulation was measured. Results: BMS-986121 significantly enhanced the β-arrestin recruitment and inhibitory effects of endomorphin-I. At 100 μM, BMS-986121 increased the potency of endomorphin-I and leu-enkephalin by approximately 4-fold and 6-fold, respectively.[1] |
