| In vitro | Antiproliferative agent-17 (compound 5e) exhibited activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus IFO 3060, Bacillus subtilis IFO 3007, and Micrococcus luteus IFO 3232, but showed no activity against tested Gram-negative bacteria and fungi [1]. It demonstrated antiproliferative effects with IC50 values of 12.85 μM for PC-3 (human prostate cancer), 11.96 μM for HCT-116 (human colorectal cancer), 16.30 μM for HepG-2 (human hepatocellular carcinoma), 9.87 μM for HeLa (human cervical cancer), and 6.90 μM for MCF-7 (human breast cancer) [1]. Additionally, it binds to the active site of the SIRT1 enzyme, occupying the positions of the NAD cofactor and the known histone deacetylase inhibitor EX527 [1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
