| In vitro | Antimalarial agent 59 (Compound 5i) effectively inhibits the growth of chloroquine-resistant Plasmodium falciparum FcB1 strain with an IC 50 of 46 nM and a selectivity index of 232. Within 72 hours, it impedes HeLa cervical cancer cell growth, with an LD 50 of 10.85 μM. In a concentration and time-dependent manner, it reduces the viability of A2780 ovarian cancer cells, achieving nearly complete inhibition at 10 μM for 48 and 72 hours. After 72 hours of incubation with this agent, A2780 cell growth is inhibited with an IC 50 of 3.82 ± 1.38 μM. Similarly, it decreases A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell viability, showing significant inhibition after 72 hours at 10 μM, with cell viability at 15.75%. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
