| In vitro | Method: B16F10 mouse melanoma cells were treated with ethyl 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate at concentrations of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 μg/mL for 24, 48, or 72 h, and cell viability was evaluated using the MTS assay. Rresult: Cell viability generally remained around or above 80% under the tested conditions, whereas higher concentrations, particularly concentrations of at least 25 μg/mL, showed a greater cytotoxic tendency. Concentrations of 2–10 μg/mL were therefore used in subsequent activity assays.[1] Method: B16F10 mouse melanoma cells were stimulated with α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone and treated with ethyl 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate at concentrations of 0, 2, 5, or 10 μg/mL for 72 h. Tyrosinase protein expression was analyzed by Western blotting and normalized to HSP90. Rresult: Ethyl 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoate reduced cellular tyrosinase protein expression, and treatment at 10 μg/mL produced a marked reduction that was greater than that observed with 125 μg/mL arbutin.[1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
