Wnt/β-catenin-IN-1 (compounds 17) is an inhibitor of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. It induces apoptosis in colon cancer cells and exhibits broad-spectrum anticancer activity, making it useful for research on various solid tumors.

| Description | Wnt/β-catenin-IN-1 (compounds 17) is an inhibitor of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. It induces apoptosis in colon cancer cells and exhibits broad-spectrum anticancer activity, making it useful for research on various solid tumors. |
| In vitro | Wnt/β-catenin-IN-1 (compounds 17) exhibits broad-spectrum anticancer activity at 10 μM for 48 hours, achieving an average growth inhibition rate of 81.9% across 52 tested tumor cell lines. It shows low cytotoxicity towards normal human cell lines (CCD841, MRC5) and demonstrates selectivity for cancer cells. Moreover, Wnt/β-catenin-IN-1 induces dose-dependent cell cycle arrest, increasing the population of HCT116 colon cancer cells in the G2/M phase at concentrations of 0, 0.5, 1, and 2 μM over 24 or 48 hours. Additionally, at 0, 0.5, 1, and 2 μM for 24 hours, it dose-dependently reduces CDK8 levels in HCT colorectal cancer cells. |
