| Description | Tubulin inhibitor 47 (compound C11) is a potent tubulin inhibitor that induces apoptosis and causes cell cycle arrest at the M phase. It exhibits antitumor activity. |
| In vitro | Tubulin inhibitor 47 (compound C11) targets the colchicine binding site on tubulin to inhibit its polymerization. At concentrations of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 nM, it induces cell cycle arrest at the M phase. Additionally, Tubulin inhibitor 47 at 0, 5, 10, and 20 nM increases the expression of p-Histone H3 in a dose-dependent manner in KYSE30 cells. Furthermore, it induces apoptosis in a dose-dependent fashion at concentrations of 0, 5, 10, and 20 nM over 48 hours. |
| In vivo | Tubulin inhibitor 47, administered intraperitoneally at doses of 6 and 12 mg/kg daily for 15 days, demonstrates dose-dependent antitumor activity. |
