| In vivo | Tipepidine administered intraperitoneally (i.p.) at doses ranging from 10 to 40 mg/kg for durations between 0.5 and 23 hours notably reduced immobility time in the forced swimming test among ACTH-treated male Wistar rats, weighing 150-240 g and aged 5-7 weeks. At a specific dosage of 40 mg/kg, tipepidine elevated the extracellular dopamine levels in the nucleus accumbens (NAc) in these rats. The study utilized dosages of 10, 20, and 40 mg/kg, with administration times at 0.5, 5, and 23 hours, leading to the observed decrease in immobility time in the forced swimming test for ACTH-treated subjects. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
