| Description | STIM1-TFR1-IN-1 is an inhibitor of the stromal interaction molecule 1-transferrin receptor 1 (STIM1-TFR1) protein complex, demonstrating a dissociation constant (Kd) of 2.18 μM with STIM1-CD protein. This compound disrupts the interaction between STIM1 and TFR1, thereby reducing TFR1-mediated iron uptake activity. It also inhibits ferroptosis, lipid peroxidation, and the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), while enhancing the activity of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) and the glutathione/oxidized glutathione ratio, effectively reversing ferroptosis-associated mitochondrial morphological changes. Additionally, STIM1-TFR1-IN-1 provides neuroprotection and mitigates brain injury, making it a valuable tool for intracerebral hemorrhage research. |
| In vitro | STIM1-TFR1-IN-1 (Compound S-IN-1) at concentrations of 0.15625-5 μM directly and selectively binds to the STIM1-CD protein, with a dissociation constant (K d) of 2.18 μM. At concentrations of 10-20 μM, S-IN-1 inhibits the interaction between STIM1 and TFR1 in HT22 mouse neuronal cells exposed to Hemin to simulate intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
