Description
Prostaglandin D2 Ethanolamide is a metabolite generated from arachidonoyl ethanolamide via the COX-2 pathway, which induces apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells.
In vitro
Methods: Colorectal cancer cell lines were treated with different concentrations of Prostaglandin D2 Ethanolamide (1–10 μM) for 72 h to detect its effects on cell growth and survival.
Results: Prostaglandin D2 Ethanolamide (1–10 μM, treatment for 72 h) could inhibit cell proliferation and induce cell death in colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
