| In vitro | Methods：The mechanism of action of pegcetacoplan acetate on complement C3 was analyzed, and its relevant research directions for applicable diseases were summarized. Results：Pegcetacoplan acetate targets complement C3, an upstream molecule of C5. It regulates intravascular and extravascular hemolysis, blocks C3 consumption and restores normal C3 levels, thereby remarkably alleviating proteinuria [3-4]. This agent can be studied for the treatment of various complement-related diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, C3 glomerulopathy, geographic atrophy, autoimmune hemolytic anemia and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria [2-3]. |

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
