| Description | NRPa-308, a new neuropilin-1 antagonist, exerts in vitro anti-angiogenic and anti-proliferative effects and in vivo anti-cancer effects in a mouse xenograft model. NRPa-308 is used in angiogenesis and tumor biology research systems to investigate neuropilin-1-mediated vascular signaling, endothelial cell proliferation regulation, and tumor microenvironment modulation in xenograft cancer models. |
| In vivo | Method: A series of 18 small organic VEGF-A165/NRP-1 antagonists were synthesized and tested in vitro for anti-angiogenic activity and effects on viability of human cancer cell lines. Result: Compound 2a (NRPa-308) showed potent anti-angiogenic activity in vitro and affected viability across a broad panel of human solid and hematological cancer cell lines. It exhibited lower cytotoxicity on healthy tissues compared with sunitinib in vitro. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
