| Description | Muramyl dipeptide-d3 (MDP-d3) is a deuterium-labeled form of Muramyl dipeptide. MDP is a synthetic immunoreactive peptide formed by linking N-acetylmuramic acid with a short amino acid chain of L-Ala-D-isoGln. It acts as an inducer of bone formation by promoting the expression of the Runx2 gene via the MAPK pathway, facilitating osteoblast differentiation, and indirectly inhibiting osteoclast differentiation by reducing the RANKL/OPG ratio. Additionally, Muramyl dipeptide functions as an agonist of NLRP1. |
