| Description | mcIRBP-9 is an NF-κB inhibitor with oral bioavailability. It reduces levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and TGF-β1 in renal tissue, while also decreasing LPS-induced IL-1β production. mcIRBP-9 is suitable for research associated with diabetic nephropathy and type 2 diabetes. |
| In vivo | Administered orally either once daily or as a single dose over 12 weeks or short-term, mcIRBP-9 (1-10 μmol kg−1) enhances glucose clearance in a dose-dependent manner, reduces long-term blood glucose and HbA1c levels, elevates survival rates to 100%, and ameliorates diabetic nephropathy in db/db mice through anti-inflammatory and renal protective effects. Additionally, a single oral dose of mcIRBP-9 (1 μmol kg−1) post-LPS stimulation inhibits LPS-induced renal NF-κB activity and systemic IL-1β production in NF-κB transgenic mice, demonstrating anti-inflammatory activity related to kidney disease. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
