Description	MBM-17S, a potent NIMA-related kinase 2 (Nek2) inhibitor with an IC50 of 3 nM, effectively inhibits cancer cell proliferation by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. It demonstrates antitumor activities without evident toxicity to mice.
Targets&IC50	Aurora A:5800 nM , NEK2:3 nM
In vitro	MBM-17S (0.25-1.0 μM; 24 hours) induced G2/M phase arrest and accumulation of cells with >4N content. MBM-17S (0.5-1.0 μM; 24 hours) triggers apoptosis of cancer cells.MBM-17S inhibits MGC-803, HCT-116, and Bel-7402 cells proliferation with IC50s of 0.48, 1.06, and 4.53 μM, respectively.
In vivo	MBM-17S (1.0 mg/kg; i.v.) treatment shows CL, Vss, T1/2, AUC0-t, and AUC0-∞ values of 42.4 mL/min/kg, 4.06 L/kg, 2.42 hours, 386 ng/h/mL, and 405 ng/h/mL, respectively.MBM-17S (20 mg/kg; i.p.; twice a day for 21 days) exhibits good antitumor activity and a well-tolerated dose schedule.

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO TargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
