Description	Decanoyl-RVKR-CMK (DecRVKRcmk) TFA effectively hinders the processing of over-expressed gp160 and suppresses HIV-1 replication.
In vitro	Decanoyl-RVKR-CMK (DecRVKRcmk) TFA effectively inhibits HIV-2 ROD replication by impeding the processing of envelope glycoprotein precursors in Jurkat lymphocyte cells[1] and obstructs the regulated secretion of VGF[2]. In a cell viability assay with HeLaCD4 cells infected with recombinant vaccinia viruses at 5 PFU/mL MOI, 35 μM concentration reduced ex vivo HIV-1 and HIV-2 replication rates by 70-80% over 7 days.
