| Description | D-Leucine amide-CDDO-Me-HMP is a prodrug composed of CDDO-Me and ligustrazine. It serves a protective role against liver damage induced by CCl4. | In vitro | D-Leucine amide-CDDO-Me-HMP (CHL) at a concentration of 0.05-0.10 μM for 24 hours significantly improves cell viability in CCl4-induced liver injury cell models LO2 and RAW264.7. It also reduces ROS levels, mitigates mitochondrial damage, and inhibits apoptosis in the same model. Furthermore, in CCl4-induced LO2 cells, D-Leucine amide-CDDO-Me-HMP significantly upregulates the expression of Nrf2 and HO-1 proteins. |
| In vivo | D-Leucine amide-CDDO-Me-HMP (CHL), administered intraperitoneally at a dosage of 15-30 mg/kg following CCl4-induced liver injury, can enhance the liver morphology and reduce pathological damage in CCl4-induced C57BL/6 mouse liver injury models. |
