| Description | Chlorphoxim is a broad-spectrum, highly effective insecticide that exterminates pests by inhibiting AChE. It suppresses SOD and CAT activities in zebrafish embryos, induces oxidative stress by activating ROS, and promotes apoptosis by upregulating Bax, Bcl2, and p53 expression in zebrafish embryos. Chlorphoxim exhibits neurotoxic and developmental toxic properties and is utilized in agricultural research for controlling various pests. |
| In vivo | Chlorphoxim (2.5–12.5 mg/L; Water immersion; 6 hpf to 96 hpf/6 dpf) induces dose-dependent developmental toxicity, neurotoxicity, oxidative stress, and apoptosis in zebrafish embryos, with an LC50 of 8.4 mg/L. |
