Description
CGP78850 is a potent and selective Grb2 SH2-phosphopeptide interaction antagonist with potential applications in cancer research.
In vitro
CGP78850 (0~100 μM; 90 minutes; MDA-MB-468 cells) exhibits a dose-dependent reduction in Grb2 protein association, inhibiting interactions between EGFR and Grb2 as well as between Shc and Grb2 in living cells. It also prevents MDA-MB-468 cells from forming colonies in soft agar in a dose-dependent manner, confirmed by Western Blot Analysis showing a significant decrease in Grb2 protein levels.
