Description
Compound 106 (compound 10ic) induces apoptosis in B16-F10 melanoma cells and potently inhibits metastatic nodules in mouse models of lung metastatic melanoma, suggesting its utility in the study of cancer, particularly lung metastatic melanoma [1].
In vitro
Anticancer agent 106 (Compound 106; 0.28-55 μM; 24 h) diminishes the viability of B16-F10 melanoma cells in a dose-dependent manner, with an IC50 of 4.8 μM [1]. At concentrations ranging from 5-20 μM over 48 hours, the same agent induces apoptosis in B16-F10 melanoma cells [1].
In vivo
Anticancer agent 106 (9-9.5 mg/kg, i.p., every 3rd day for 22 days) inhibits metastatic nodules in a murine model of pulmonary metastatic melanoma [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
