In vitro	The anti-inflammatory agent 48 (compound 1; 20 mg/kg) inhibited NO production in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages and showed superior NF-κB inhibition compared to Diclofenac by activating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway in RAW 264.7 cells [1].
In vivo	Anti-inflammatory agent 48 (compound 1; 20 mg/kg) significantly alleviated colitis in a dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced mouse model by upregulating HO-1 and downregulating NF-κB p65 phosphorylation levels [1].
