Anti-Mouse IL-2 Antibody (JES6-1A12) is a monoclonal inhibitory antibody against mouse IL-2. It inhibits Treg cell expansion, enhances Th1 response, and forms complexes with IL-2, mostly used in research on infectious diseases such as malaria.

Anti-Mouse IL-2 Antibody (JES6-1A12), under the conditions of 0.2 µg/mL and 72 h treatment, can significantly inhibit the proliferation of CD4⁺ T cells in the chronic infection phase, but has no significant inhibitory effect in the acute infection phase [1].

Anti-Mouse IL-2 Antibody (JES6-1A12), administered intraperitoneally at 1 mg per mouse per day on days 0, 2, and 4, can significantly reduce the parasitemia level in female C57BL/6 mice infected with Plasmodium chabaudi AS [1].
When Anti-Mouse IL-2 Antibody (JES6-1A12) is mixed with IL‑2 at a molar ratio of 2:1 and administered intraperitoneally for 3 consecutive days, it can form a complex, significantly increase the sensitivity of C57BL/6 mice to LPS, promote T cell expansion, and increase the number of CD11b⁺CD14⁺ cells in the spleen and blood [2].
