| In vitro | Topoisomerase II-IN-24 (Compound 8) demonstrates potent cytotoxic effects against various cancer cell lines, notably inhibiting the growth of NCI-H522 and UACC-62 cells by 97.7% and 98.95%, respectively. In HT-29 colon cancer cells, it has a GI50 value of 2.61 μM, while its IC50 is 44.37 μM in FHC normal colon cells. The compound exhibits dose-dependent inhibition of topoisomerase IIα activity, with an IC50 of 41.67 μM. Additionally, Topoisomerase II-IN-24 (2.61 μM, 24 h) induces G2/M phase arrest and apoptosis in HT-29 cells, along with increased levels of caspase-3. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
