Description
Quorum sensing-IN-4 (compound 2) is a quorum sensing inhibitor isolated from the Streptomyces sp. OUCMDZ-5511 found in Thai mangroves.
In vitro
Quorum sensing-IN-4 (compound 2) at concentrations of 12.5, 25, 50, and 100 μg/mL over a period of 24 hours inhibits the growth of C. violaceum ATCC 12472, as well as the production of violacein and biofilm formation.
