In vivo
In animal models of inflammatory diseases, such as gout and atherosclerosis, the administration of Ofirnoflastum is associated with the prevention of NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated responses. In neurodegenerative disorder models, the inhibitor reduces the assembly of the inflammasome complex, thereby modulating the inflammatory microenvironment in the target tissues [1].
