Description
OB-1 is a protein-like protein-3 (STOML3) inhibitor, inhibiting adipogenesis and lipid droplet growth by downregulating the PPARγ pathway. OB-1 inhibits adipogenesis and lipid droplet growth by interfering with the self-association of stomatin.
In vitro
OB-1 (3 h) treatment reduced the mechanical conduction current of N2a cells with an IC50 of 10 nM. [1]
In vivo
OB-1 (250-500 pmol/ capsule, injected subcutaneously) reversibly reduces the sensitivity of mechanically gated currents in sensory neurons and silenced mechanoreceptors in mice.
OB-1 (250 pmol/ capsule, subcutaneous injection) alleviates painful diabetic neuropathy in mice. [1]

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSOTargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
